Watt about the beginning of glaciation?

Watts Up With That (WUWT) has a new post called is this what the beginning of glaciation looks like? I’m not an expert on glaciation, but my guess is that the answer to this question is “no”.

I follow a blog – From a Glaciers Perspective (http://glacierchange.wordpress.com/) – and I’m pretty sure their answer would be the same as yours.

The beginning of a late spring sounds more apt. We continue to lose glaciers because of long term warming, not a cold season. Milk Lake Glacier. Also where there are glaciers in the lower 48 the snowpack is generally below average as reach the start of the melt season.

  3. Indeed. However, there are many who post or comment on WUWT who do not believe that what you’ve just said is true!
